Summer University Courses
We are planning to deliver our courses face-to-face in the summer of 2022. Participants must ensure that they meet all Hungarian entry requirements, including vaccine or test certificates if needed. CEU will closely monitor and follow the advice from national and local authorities on how to keep the CEU campus safe for our community. We will always keep our participants updated regarding COVID developments.

Our courses
CEU SUN is a program for advanced undergrads, graduate students, postdocs, junior faculty, and researchers, as well as professionals who wish to upgrade their knowledge in a variety of areas in the social sciences and humanities, gain applied skills and build interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral networks. The courses, offered for one or two weeks in June and July on CEU’s Budapest campus, are taught by international teams of scholars and practitioners, and use CEU’s state-of-the-art academic resources and facilities.
Our courses are designed to use a broad range of teaching methods is used to enliven the courses such as intensive reading seminars, panel and group discussions, individual and group projects, presentations, field trips, etc. During the course, while faculty members present their topics through lectures and seminars, they also facilitate work on the development of participants' research and/or policy agendas through individual tutorials or office hours.
